How to stick to your resolutions and keep moving!

Let’s be honest, it’s been a tough start to the year with continued Covid-19 restrictions and a sense that we’ll never be done with this pandemic. We completely understand that it’s hard to get motivated and actually stick to those movement resolutions that you made back in 2021!


Which means that unless you make a change, or implement an action plan, you’re not actually going to hit your movement goals! (We hate to be the bearer of bad news, but someone’s gotta say it.) 


So how can you stick to your resolutions and keep moving? Try these tips:

  • Choose a specific goal: I am going to make it to one Pilates class every week.

  • Plan your goals: Block off time in your calendar for your Pilates classes, and write them in pen! This is time for you, and you will not reschedule!

  • Get yourself an accountability buddy: Bring a friend to class, and make a pact to show up for them (and for you!).

  • Be honest with yourself: Missed a class? Ask yourself why.

  • Don’t beat yourself up: Okay, so you missed a class… You can always come back next week!
